Obituary of Nancy I. Bourne

Nancy I. Bourne, 56, passed away on Sunday May 21, 2023, at her residence in Spotswood, NJ.  Nancy was born in Queens, NY and has resided in Spotswood, NJ for most of her life.  Nancy was employed by AT&T before her retirement, she enjoyed reading and volunteering her free time for animals in need, she loved dogs and spending time with her family. 

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Dora Mercedes Blanchett (2021) and Donald “Eddie” Blanchett (2022).    

Nancy is survived by her loving husband, John Bourne of Spotswood, NJ, her dog Bailey, her brother, Rev. Edward H. Blanchett of Brick Township, NJ, her sister, Sandra Zema and her husband Anthony of Jamesburg, NJ, her brother-in-law, Fred Bourne and his wife Donna of South Carolina, her niece and nephews, Amanda and Michael Zema and Frederick Bourne, III and many extended family members and friends.        

Visitation will be 2:00pm – 4:00pm and 7:00pm – 9:00pm on Friday May 26, 2023 and 8:30am - 9:15am on Saturday May 27, 2023 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Road, Monroe Twp., NJ.  Funeral services will begin at 9:15am on Saturday from the funeral home.  A funeral liturgy will be 10:00am at Immaculate Conception RC Church, 18 South Street, Spotswood.  Cremation is private.
