Obituary of Anthony Charles Lavezzoli

Anthony C. Lavezzoli, 86, of Monroe Twp. passed away on Friday January 27, 2023 at Penn Medical Center in Plainsboro.  Anthony was born and raised in the Bronx, lived on Staten Island for 40 years and then settled in Monroe Twp. in 2006.  He proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps.  He was employed as a bus driver for over 30 years for the MTA in New York City.  He was a member of the RCC Italian American Club, Bocce Club and the RCC Men's Club.  Anthony was a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting.  Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Anthony was preceded in death by his sister, Clida Cook.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Mattie Lavezzoli of Monroe Twp., his daughter, Lara Mazzuchetti and her husband Anthony of East Brunswick and his son, Anthony Lavezzoli and his wife Jeanine of Staten Island, six grandchildren: Joanna, Anthony John, Anthony Charles, Matthew, Keira and Jenna and his sister, Mirna Lavezzoli of South Carolina.  Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday February 1, 2023 and 9:00-9:45 am on Thursday February 2, 2023 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. - 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ  08831.  Funeral services will begin at 9:45 am on Thursday from the funeral home.  A funeral liturgy will be 10:30 am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church - 185 Applegarth Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ  08831 followed by entombment in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Woodbridge Twp.
