We were at Metuchen fair and met Sal and Frances on the day that he was immediately recruited into the Italian American civic league by our fast talking friend Dolores from Newark. He ended up being president and helping us to dissolve the organization after all the members passed.
We gave away more than $350,000 to hospitals and medical research organizations.
Sal, also joined our Colonia chapter of Deborah heart and lung center. He eventually
became Chapter President and did his part in helping to raise more than $4,000,000 that the chapter raised for that hospital.
One good man can do a LOT, if he wants to and is honest in his wish.
Anita and I will miss Sal terribly.
We will love our dear friend forever.
Until we meet again Buddy
Dom and Anita

He was a great Uncle and a wonderful person. I can still picture Uncle Sal and my Dad playing ball with all of us kids in my Grandparents yard. Those were great times and he will truly be missed.

Just an awesome person who will truly be missed. I enjoyed running into him at the Sunnyside Deli where he would be sitting and reading his paper. It was people like him that made the “greatest generation” what it was. God speed to you sir.
