Nicky and Joan were family to us. Brian, Nicky Jr, Philip were like brothers to myself and my brothers. The best holiday memories were celebrating the 4th of July at Genesee Ave. I haven't and won't ever eat a skirt steak like he prepared for us. Vacations to California and Pennsylvania are so cherished in my memories that I can't help but feel so lucky to have them. The news breaks my heart that he passed but he will never be forgotten. He was the brother my father never had, they are together again watching over us.
