Rev Pike was the minister when I first joined the United Presbyterian Church of Millstone. I always thought of him as a kind, gentle and caring person who was dedicated to his calling. I will always have fond memories and the time that was shared.
There is a song "I Can Only Imagine" by MercyMe. I would like to share words from that song and hope you find comfort in them.
Surrounded by Your Glory what will my heart feel?
Will I dance for your Jesus? Or in awe of You be still?
Will I stand in Your presence or to my knees will I fall?
Will I sing 'Hallelujah!'? Will I be able to speak at all?
I can only imagine! I can only imagine!
Imagine what your loved one did when he first saw Jesus. What a beautiful moment that must have been. We can only imagine!
My sincere condolences Doug to you and your family.

Greg was a sincere, compassionate and trusted friend. His presence in my life was a gift from God. My thoughts and prayers go out to Douglas, Justin, Amy and all others in his immediate family. There are so many wonderful memories of our times in Indian Guides, failed hunting trips and of course our many fishing trips at the Cape. I have always and will always consider it an honor to have known him.
Sincerely,
Bob Rudd

Our deepest sympathy and condolences to Doug and all of the family. No one will ever replace ‘the Rev’. He was our dear friend and my companion in faith. We had so many talks about the Lord, His support through all of our health struggles and just deep discussions about the meaning of life. I will look forward to the day we can meet again. I just hope he gets the choir straight, for me, up there. ;)
Love the Sandel Family

To Kaye and Greg's family: I extend my sincere condolences at the loss of your brother, father, Grandfather and husband! I grew up living next door to Greg and the Pike family in Manistique and spent many hours at their house or in the neighborhood playing with the boys. Greg was always with a smile on his face. He was the quiet serious brother. Seems like when I think back about Greg I always picture him with a fishing rod in his hands. Harvey, Vi. Steve, Greg and Brian all gone to young. Cherish your memories. I do!

To the family of the Reverend Gregory J. Pike,
It is with great sorrow that I learned of Greg’s passing.
Greg was a kind man, generous with his time, compassionate and engaging. As “across the street neighbors” of the manse and the church in New Scotland, my family depended upon the Pike family and the church as a social and spiritual constant. For that connection I will be forever grateful. My thoughts and prayers are with you all in this time of sadness.
Rest In Peace, Greg.

To the loving family of Rev. Gregory Pike,
My family and I lived in Millstone and had the wonderful pleasure of knowing Rev. Pike. He was truly a wonderful, warm, and loving gentleman. He always took the time to chat and see how each of my family was doing. We had many talks when I lost my husband, my dearest friend, and father Richard R. Baylor. I am surprised to hear this news and please know it is with deepest sympathy that we all send our love to his children and his family.
Memories last forever and peace to your all during this time, Marian, Trevor, Kerianne, & Andrew Baylor
