Ralph was a treasure. He lit up our lives with true friendship and his stories were priceless. One of our favorite "Ralph stories" was when he told us he held up a bank. Seems he was driving a company van through a bank drive-thru that wasn't quite high enough and proceeded to take off the overhang. When Cabbage Patch Kids were impossible to come by, Ralph called from Connecticut to say he had found two, one for Tammy and one for our Diane. She still has her "Eric Augie". Pat and Tammy, we send our deepest sympathy to you and hope your are comforted by family and friends who appreciated and loved Ralph.
Love, Jean & Stuart Himes

Ray and I are so sad to hear about Ralph...we remember your wedding day! We always looked forward to all the fun get togethers we had when you lived in Washington Township. Ralph was so funny - he kept us laughing every time we got together. And Ralph was absolutely devoted to Patti and to Tammy - it was just beautiful to see. He was a genuinely kind and gentle person who is already missed by all who knew him. Love...Cynthia and Ray

There is absolutely no way to put into words how I feel having lost what I would consider absolutely one of the most amazing men I've ever had the pleasure of not just knowing but being related to. Having my dear uncle walk me down the aisle to get married meant more to me than anything in the world I cherish that that is my memory that I will keep in my heart forever. My heart is beyond broken words are not strong enough to express what my heart feels I pray for God's strength and comforting peace to be brought to my dear family to help them through this as well as my own personal family I love you all so very much. We were all better for having known him. There is a saying that I love it may have been one heck of a rollercoaster ride with my wonderful fun-loving crazy uncle but we were all the better for having bought a ticket. I love you with all my heart Uncle Ralph please stay with me watch over my family till we meet again and I get to tell you a joke. Knock knock I'll tell you the answer when we meet again..... all my love always, "iodine"
