Obituary of Jane Needham

Jane (nee Borgia) Needham passed away on Friday June 19, 2020 at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro.  She was 86 years old.  Mrs. Needham was born and raised in Brooklyn and resided there until moving to Greenbriar at Whittingham, Monroe Twp. in 1997.  She was a College Assistant for the Department of Health and Nutrition Sciences at Brooklyn College for many years until her retirement in the early 1990's.  She was a parishoner of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp.  She was passionate about reading and loved taking on the challenge of a difficult NY Times crossword puzzle.  She also enjoyed playing Blackjack, and Bocce, Mahjong, and Canasta with her friends in the Greenbriar community.

She was pre-deceased by her parents, Thomas and Josephine (nee Petrotta) Borgia, her husband, Richard Needham, her sister, Pauline Reilly, and her brother-in-law, Joseph Reilly.

She is survived by three children, Kathleen Inocco and her husband Robert of Huntington, NY, Denise Gallo and her husband Scott of Staten Island, NY, and Robert Needham and his fiancee, Mercedes Thomas of Staten Island, NY, one sister, Rosemarie Borgia Ventura and her husband Ben of New York City, NY, seven grandchildren, Kristen, Nicole, Kimberly, Deana, Kyle, Victoria, and Julianna, and many other extended family members.

Visitation will be on Thursday June 25, 2020 from 3:30pm to 7:30pm at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831.  A funeral liturgy will be on Friday June 26, 2020 at 12:00pm at Immaculate Conception RC Church, 23 Manalapan Rd. Spotswood, NJ 08884 followed by Interment in Brigadier General William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Rd. Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
