Obituary of Ruth A. Carlson

Ruth A. Carlson – Monroe Township, NJ

Ruth A. Carlson, 84, died at her residence on Monday July 8, 2019.  Ruth was born and raised in Huntington, NY; she resided in Long Island, NY for all of her life, before moving to Monroe Township, NJ five years ago.  Ruth was an accomplished artist, painter and wood carver and was a member of the Huntington Arts League.

Ruth is preceded in death by her sister Audrey Sinder.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Sandra Carlson and her husband Michael DeBenedetto of Metuchen, NJ.  Also surviving are extended family members and friends. 

Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9pm on Thursday July 11, 2019 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. - 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ  08831.  Funeral services will begin at 3:30pm on Thursday at the funeral home.  Interment will be Friday July 12, 2019 in the Memorial Cemetery of St. John’s Church - Route 25A Laurel Hollow, Syosset New York 11724
