Ruth was a wonderful 1st cousin on my father's side. I have fond memories of summertime visits at the homestead on Long Island when I was a kid. Ruth and her sister Audrey were two sweethearts and their mom and dad were a favorite aunt and uncle. I still remember Aunt Erna preparing picnic dinners for us and Uncle Wally Ackerman teaching us kids mumbly peg. Wonderful memories which bring a tear to my eye. God bless Sandy and Michael as they carry on without my cousin Ruth.
