When I picture my grandfather, I think of the many memories I've cherished with him in my 16 years. From picking juicy tomatoes in his garden (though I never ate them!), to getting those tasty lollipops he always stashed in the pantry, to going for joyrides on the golfcart, playing cards before going to bed, helping him ring the Salvation Army bell, listening to his Kiwanis club tips, and the numerous sleepovers at the house; Grandpa will always be remembered as an inspiring volunteer, one who always made me smile, one who cheered me on, and someone who excelled with flying colors in the art of being a grandfather.
