Dorothy was my dear friend and colleague. She gave her all to everything and everyone she touched. Her creativity and efficiency in event planning was beyond compare, leading to me to dub her the "Perle Mesta" of Union County College. She valiantly battled incredibly complicated health issues. May she rest in the comfort of God's arms and be reunited with her beloved Bruce.
It is with great fondness that I remember my association with Dorothy during my many years at UCC. She was always so upbeat and happy about her work. Those years were filled with adventure and success in helping people achieve goals. She was such an active participant in those efforts. I am glad that she is at peace now.
In the short time I was privileged to know Dorothy, she became a dear, dear friend. Always thinking of others, and she loved her church, Nativity of Our Lord Parish. I will miss her dearly. Rest in peace my friend.
