Having known Catherine McGowan very well throughout my entire life, it especially hurts to hear of her passing. She was such an inspiring and admired human being, and always carried a smile on her face. I find her to of lived an amazing life and everyday to the fullest. Years ago I went through a struggling time period when Terence McGowan, her spouse, passed on. I was heartbroken. One of the biggest factors that got me through that time was Catherine McGowan. Married to him for countless years and so deeply in love with him, she was so strong and peaceful when he died. She taught me that you must let things go, and that they will always remain in your heart and memory. I am so thankful for this woman and the light she produced to people around her. Sincere condolences to the family and friends of Catherine McGowan. Our family is praying and hoping for her to rest in perfect peace.
