<p>Dear Marian,<br>I am so sorry for your loss! Having been in that situation myself, I know the emotional toll that you are facing - getting used to all the "new normal" situations by yourself that in the past your shared with John as a family, missing the person you loved dearly, feeling so sorry that he will never see another beautiful day or participate in meaningful family milestones.... <br>I know Matt will be your big support - my boys were there for me all the way, even as they faced their own loss of their dad, and it helped me tremendously. Please be brave and know that, although the horrible hurt will never leave 100%, it will lessen with the passage of time, and - yes- you will smile again one day. <br>Matt, I am so very sorry that you lost your dad at such a young age. Please be brave, too, and be the support that your mom needs to face the road ahead without her partner and soulmate.<br>Our thoughts and prayers are with you both all the time, love, Mira, Sean, and Kevin Stangl</p>
