Noreen was part of our volunteer driver team with George for 17 years! Noreen and George drove people to medical appointments all throughout Middlesex county and shared humor and hospitality with each care-receiver they assisted. They literally helped hundreds of local residents! She was a gift! We will miss her warmth and great wit. May she rest in peace. All her friends at Interfaith Network of Care, Inc.

Dear Mr. Richardson and Family,

Mer said it very well. I remember that milk box! And swimming in your pool (before the in-ground), when you certainly had plenty of your own family to accommodate, but always included us neighborhood kids as well. Fourth of July\'s, when Mrs. Richardson would distribute s\'mores to all of us. She was always impeccably dressed, a true lady, with a voice and a laugh that I will always remember.

Carol (Benziger) McGovern

Uncle George,

I most likely remember memories of Aunt Noreen better than my siblings. She was always such a kind and generous person to me, especially in my memories of living on Jensen Ave. in Spotswood, just around the corner from Mema, UG and AN. Her distinctive Irish laugh is a happy sound that I will never forget for the rest of my life. I remember being in K-2nd grades (I think) and not appreciating until much later how special it was to have close and loving family living adjacent to our home.
Riding my bike to the neighborhood school and back, and being able to stop at my grandmother's house was something I took for granted when I was so young, but I have vivid memories of short conversations on Gaskin Avenue with that trio of special people. Sitting in Mema's living room or across the street at the Richardsons' in the front and back yards and before the days of cell phones, we would look at family photos and talk about car batteries, cameras, street lights, pets, and other random topics that all seemed very important to a six-year-old, at the time. Forty years ago, Aunt Noreen would always offer me a drink of water or tea and ask me about my day.

Although I'm sad while writing down these memories, I can hear her laugh as she enjoys a better place. It brings a smile to my face. My warmest thoughts and prayers are with you now.

Love,
Your grand nephew Nick Andreacci
https://uploads.disquscdn.com/... https://uploads.disquscdn.com/...

Aunt Noreen's kindness was so abundant. She always say hi to me and asked me how I was doing as a kid and I felt so appreciative of that now I reflect on it. However, what I will cherish most about Aunt Noreen is her beautiful singing. It was my connection to Ireland in ways.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Dear Mr. Richardson, Rose, Terry, Danny, Mary, and Pat,

When I think about growing up on Gaskin Avenue in the 60s and 70s, the Richardson household is the focal point for many of my memories – and Mrs. Richardson was always there, welcoming us all, always smiling, always with her
quick wit and warm laugh. She was the quintessential homemaker, who not only raised her own five kids but helped raise the rest of the neighborhood as well. I think of the milk box on her front stoop, which served as homebase for countless summertime games for countless of us neighborhood kids, and Mrs. Richardson swinging open the screen door to ask if anyone wanted some lemonade. Always smiling. Always welcoming. She will always have a warm place in my heart and in my memories. I wish I could be there to share in the celebration of her life, but since I can't be there in person, please know that I'm keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers these days. God bless you all.

~Maryellen
