I met Mike just over a year ago and we immediately had a connection thro twitter of all places. It is rare to connect with someone so quickly but I instantly loved and adored him. We had so much fun when he visited and just spoke last week. He cared so deeply about his Dad coming home and his wonderful family, beyond LOVED his stunning niece! He was and is one of the most beautiful souls that I've met and when I think of Mike I smile. I am so angered by his passing but I know he's an asset high above to all. With all my heart and soul you are in my thoughts and prayers, I am so sorry I can't be there. With all my heart sending you love and light.
Love
Carlton Gebbia
Blessed Be

I had the absolute pleasure of being Mike's site supervisor for his internship at SBHS. We are all so shocked and saddened by Mike's sudden passing. He was not any ordinary intern, he was a genuine counselor who cared about each and every student who he worked with. He was one of us and such a great friend. He participated in all types of school activities and the students respected and looked up to him. Mike was meant to be a counselor and it showed in his passion and dedication every day. He will be missed by students and staff, especially me. I know for a fact that a scholarship in his name would be something that he would be so touched by. I am honored to have gotten to know such a wonderful person who helped others the way that he did.

Mike was such an awesome person and great friend. I had the pleasure of working with him in the counseling office at South Brunswick High School during his internship. He developed such a great friendship with our entire staff, with such a warm personality and outgoing spirit. There was nothing that he wouldn't do for the students of SBHS, the sky was the limit. I will always cherish the wonderful memories of our nights out filled with fun, friendship and laughter from such an amazing guy. Rest in peace Michael, we never forget you!
