Gino, Mike, Kathy and the entire Valiant Family. I am so, so sorry for your loss. You have my sincere condolences and I will add your Mom to my prayers. Please remember, you were fortunate to have a mother who loved you and supported her family all her life. I know you will miss her terribly. Mrs Valiant was a lively and wise mother who nurtured, guided and enjoyed her entire family. I know the Valiant family will carry on and continue to live the way your father and mother both taught you... Gino & Mike have always been responsible family men, honest business leaders, community contributors, who still find the time and good spirit to enjoy life and all the opportunities God has given to appreciate this world for the short time we are here. Your Mother and Father both did a great job and are surely looking proudly down on you now. May God continue to bless the Valiant family.

Gino, Michael and Kathy. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. I have many happy memories of our days growing up in Carteret. Your mother was always so welcoming and kind to me and anyone else who was in your home.
Gino, Michael, Cathy et al. Norman has such fond memories of growing up with your mom and having her as
a cousin. Years later he was honored to participate in the golf tournament, have our names mentioned at one of the tees and spending time with Karen and her boys. She was a special woman who lived life fully especially when it came to helping others in need. We hope the Foundation continues and look forward to playing many tournaments in
the future. Our thoughts are with you all. Love, Norm and Cheryl

We can't express how we feel about Karen's passing. You know, Gino, Michael and Cathy, you are more like our children than our friends. Karen was and will always be very, very special to us, as was your Dad, We will always laugh about our times down the shore and our 4th of July boat ride and when Karen and I tried to pump gas for the first time. You three have grown into the wonderful husbands, wife, Dads and Mother to your own families all because you had the best teachers possible - Karen and Mike. Our prayer is that they are walking hand in hand and watching over each and everyone of you. All our love always,

We loved Karen dearly and will miss her tremendously. Her handmade scarves and throws, her little gifts, her funny cards, our memories of good times and trips taken together will always remind us of her thoughtfulness and wonderful warm friendship and keep her in our hearts. She cooked for us, she was the first to visit and bring us lunch when we moved to Monroe, she was just a big part of our lives and we will always treasure those memories and feel blessed that she was our friend. Her love for her family was great and she never tired of proudly sharing everyone's latest accomplishments and good news, another reason we always looked forward to getting together -- even during the tough times she found something positive to say.

Karen was an inspiring, strong and wonderful person and we are deeply saddened by her loss. Much love,
Joe and Sue Sherman
