<p>I am sorry for everyone's loss, but I hope your hearts grow lighter with your memories of Mom intact. I want to share two of mine with you.</p>
<p>The first was how great it was one very quiet, late night in Warren, to have a beer with Mom at her kitchen table. </p>
<p>The other memory is that Mom said perhaps the greatest thing of all the people I know.</p>
<p>When Elllen told Mom that a friend was predicting a cataclysmic end to the world was at hand, Mom dismissed it by saying that if God really wanted the world to end, he would have done it during the '60s.</p>
<p>Mom, I hope you had a great time on your Big Date with Dad. I'm certain there'll be many more to come.</p>
