Maryellen had been one of my first friends in high school. Regrettably we lost touch after a year or so after graduation. To my surprise, she was one of the first friends to "friend" me on Facebook. We had chatted like we had seen each other yesterday. My heart goes out to her family. She was a wonderful person and I know she will be greatly missed.

Maryellen was the prettiest baby I had ever seen. Her face nor her loving personality have never changed. A genuine caring being. I am only one of many who will miss her.

Maryellen will be deeply missed. My brother, Harold was blessed to have her as his wife and the mother of their 3 children, whom they raised to be wonderful adults. It is hard to imagine anyone who approached life with more enthusiasm! Her work ethic was exemplary, and she played just as hard, at skiing, canoeing, bicycling, camping, and yes, even triathlons! Maryellen's love and devotion to her family was the center of her life, yet she somehow found time for others, even with her busy career and life, and her generous spirit never grew tired. It is hard to imagine our world without her, but what an advocate the family now has in heaven, and what a beautiful welcome awaits those she loves when finally they join her there. We are very grateful for Maryellen's life, for the love she shared with my brother, nephews and niece, and with all of our family. We love you always , beautiful Maryellen!
