May you rest in the arms of Our Lord~~your presence and that of Irene have been missed these past few years. Your smiling faces in friendship, your caring ways for others, these are a part of the Joe and Irene that I knew through our St. Thomas Family. Our special needs children/friends loved Irene's gentleness and your dedication to the church and it's needs goes beyond what some folks do for their regular job. Smile down on your family and protect them from above.

Mr. Zebrowski is a beacon pointing towards what an American man should be. Serving his country faithfully in WWII, returning home to marry, start a family and put them first in his life. A man who endured trials which I cannot comprehend, yet he took these in stride and built a productive fulfilling life. I was fortunate to know him through being friends with his son, Robert. I am grateful for his service to our country, honored to have known him, and I wish his soul to rest in the peace of his Lord.

In loving memory of my Great Uncle Joe. I will always remember you as a man of Family, God and Country. I cherish the memories of your blessings before every holiday meal and at our wedding. You taught us all to always respect the flag and each other. May you rest in peace and be reunited with Aunt Irene in heaven. Until we meet again...

Time passes so quickly and before you know it is time to say goodbye to someone that you loved very much. Difficult…When I think about all the Christmas Eve celebrations, birthdays, reunions, weddings etc. I would look around and you would always be there smiling back at me. All you had to deal with in a large family I never heard you say an unkind word. I pray that we all learned from your quiet and commanding persona. I think your patience and quiet demeanor came from waiting to attack the Nazi's at the Battle of the Bulge. How brave and scared you must have been. Your country always came first and you did you best to fly an American Flag wherever you could. I would pass one on Rt 18 and know that it was you who placed it. I hope you know all the love and pride we feel that you served our country with valor and courage. "This We'll Defend" Not only is this the Army motto which remained the motto of Joseph A. Zebrowski.
Peter and I love you very much and will miss your funny comments "well another year down the drain, man that's tasty, son, I think it's time to go" after a 1 hour visit. Unforgettable!!!
I know that out of any of our relatives in heaven you will be the one to watch over us all and try to guide us to make the right decisions. Much love to Aunt Irene and a Blessed Christmas to you both. Finally together.
"As long as we stand together,
Everything's gonna be alright
I'll keep you high when you get low,
Just a band of brothers raising hell"
