Obituary of Frederick M. Janiec

Frederick M. Janiec died on Monday January 28, 2013. He was 55 years old. Mr. Janiec was born in Bayonne and was raised in Edison. He has resided in Bainbridge, PA for over 25 years. He graduated from Glassboro State College in 1976. He received many awards in track and cross country during high school and college. He was most proud of having completed the New York marathon. He was a controller for Growing Concern, Inc. in Cranbury. He was an avid sportsman with a great love and respect for the outdoors. He was eager to share his passion for fishing and hunting with others. His enthusiasm for these activities is evident in his active participation in the following organizations: Maryland Salt Water Sportsman Organization, The North East Ice Fishing Circuit Sports League, and The Devils Brook Sportsman Club. He competed in the Vermont Sportsman Hard Water Tournament and the North East Ice Tour. He spent his summers at the Taylor Island Family Campground in Maryland fishing, crabbing, and relaxing on the shore of the Chesapeake Bay. His larger than life personality will be deeply missed by everyone that had the privilege to know him.
He is survived by his parents, Fred Janiec and Florence B. (nee Donnelly) Janiec of Cranbury, one brother, Mark G. Janiec and his wife Karen of Cranbury, one sister, Deborah A. LiSanti and her husband Patric of Monroe Twp., three nephews, two nieces, and many other extended family members.
Funeral services will begin at 9:15am on Saturday February 2, 2013 from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A funeral liturgy will be 10:00am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp., followed by Entombment in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, S. Brunswick. Visitation is Friday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the funeral home.
