Mrs. Antoinette Maffiore died Tuesday June 12th at Cranbury Care and Rehabilitation Center, Monroe Twp. Nettie, as she was known, was 88 years old. Born in Oldwick, she was raised in Readington, and moved to Monroe Twp. in 1953. She worked as a machine operator at Turner Tube Co., for 35 years, retiring in 1986. Nettie enjoyed gardening and trips to Atlantic City.
She was predeceased buy her husband of 60 years, John and her loving sister, Jenny King. Surviving are sons, John M and his wife, Tracey, Michael and his wife, Carmen and Frank and his wife, Marsha, and James Kenna, who was like a fourth son, and his wife, Jacoba, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp. A funeral service will be offered at 8:30pm. Private cremation will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions are encouraged to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
