I knew Mr.Fischer when I was a kid.(I am 28 years old now) Some of my earliest memories are of him, leaning over the fence and talking to me while we both lived on Sharot St in Carteret. My parents (Kathy and Greg Poznanski) ended up moving when I was 13, but my entire childhood I played in my yard and would talk to Mr.Fischer over the fence. He ALWAYS let me swim in his pool, whether it was when his grandkids (Jason, Katie and Timothy) would come to visit or even when he wasn't home and I just wanted to take a dip. Mr.Fischer was an EXTREMELY nice man and super friendly and welcoming. I am sorry I did not see this sooner and hope that this message can still be seen by his family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers because Mr.Fischer was one of the nicest men I can remember from my childhood.

Next door neighbor and friend. Always had a smile on his face. Always had a beautiful garden. I
shall plant a special flower in my
garden in your memory. I bet he grows the biggest and best tomatoes in heaven. My deepest sympathy to the family on their loss.

Opa will be greatly missed. He always had a joke to share and a kind word to say. His legacy is in the family left behind who will continue on and make him proud. So, rest in peace. We love you today and always,
Maryanne and "What's Her Name".

Fodder was always so kind with that quirky sense of humor. He made everyone feel like a member of his extended family. I'm sure my father was there to welcome him. All of our love and prayers are with all of you.
