Carol was a kind , sweet person to all, with a beautiful smile and great laugh. A wonderful teacher . Carol and her husband Lee were fortunate to have traveled to amazing parts of the world together . When she'd return , she made that an educational experience for students and their families to enjoy. Carol 's face lit up when speaking of her Grandson , Granddaughter and family. I enjoyed hearing stories about her beloved dogs , and appreciate her treating my Beagle, Shyla as her own when petsitting. Thank you Carol for being that beautiful person while here with us . May you be at Peace . Hoping the wonderful Memories help your family and friends throughout this difficult time . Carol you are missed & will never be forgotten .
Love , Celeste Adelino

Carol, You were much more than a best friend - God put you in my life to be my sister. We've laughed and cried and everything in between for so many years; sharing all of our joys and every single sorrow. I will continue to talk to you and pray for you until we see each other again in heaven one day. Your sense of humor and love will be remembered by all of us. Your kindness and generosity for all people, kids, dogs and all living things will never be forgotten. I miss you so much that my heart aches. Rest in peace with our Lord.

My husband, Roger, and I had the pleasure and good fortune of meeting Carol & Lee on vacation on the island of Antigua in 1991. We became friends and travel companions for all the years that followed; sharing many island vacations, dinners and other good times between our trips. Carol was a lovely friend, and a devoted teacher, wife and mother. We will cherish the time we had her and will miss her very much. Our deepest sympathy to Lee and his family.

Carol and I started months apart at Mill Lake School. When I think of Carol, I see a very pretty person with a beautiful smile and laugh. She was a wonderful teacher at Mill Lake and I worked as a para. I always liked her and we shared many laughs together. I would also meet Carol at Church. I like to call Carol my friend. When my sister passed away, I needed someone to take care of my 3-month old puppy while we went to the funeral in Long Island. I called Carol and she not only took care of my dog Candie for me, but also took pictures of her to give to me. Carol was an amazing and wonderful person and will be missed by many. My deepest sympathy to Lee and family. My thoughts and prayers will be with you in this time of tremendous sorrow. Love, Grace LaRegina

Mrs. Johnson was my first grade teacher. I had an illness during that time and I could not attend school. She would come over to my house and tutor me. I remember looking out the window and waiting for her come. I would get so excited to see her and she sat with for for two hours and I didn't want her to leave. She always made me feel better. Finally, I got a little better and was able to go to school, but I knew I wasn't like the other kids, as I had no hair. She had a way to make me feel so comfortable that I never even thought about that. She was the best and I will never forget her. Love, Alexa

Carol was my Aunt and one of my mother's best of friends. I knew that I could always come to her without any judgement or fear that she would be mad at me. When I was little my uncle Lee and aunt Carol would let us swim in their pool and hang around the house. Those were some of my favorite memories of childhood. She was always so sweet and loving to my family, no matter what happen. I loved her very much, she was my family and I miss her everyday. Rest in Paradise Aunt Carol. Love you.

The first Time I met Carol at the original Monmouth elementary school, one of the days I helped bring stuff to Denise's new classroom across the hall from Carols… it was hot in the new addition of classrooms and when Carol was told what I do for a living she asked me to get the A/C going in the new wing and she would take up a collection to get me paid… she was a wonderful person knowing her for 21 years after. Knowing her and her family, I am blessed to have shared parts of our time here with her and her family. She will be missed by many and welcomed by all as she returns home to be with our Lord God. God bless her for all she has done while here for the short time she was… touching many lives for the betterment of all. I am sad for me and her friends and family but I am happy for her, she is now home.

My first experience with Carol was when my daughter Amanda was in her first grade class. She was one of Amanda's favorite teachers. One of my favorite memories was when I had my parent-teacher conference Carol asked me if I was very proud of my husband who was at the Olympics. We both laughed how creative Amanda was as her dad was away on a business trip and she thought he was at the Olympics in Germany as a swimmer. A few years later I became an employee at Mill Lake School and Carol and I would often laugh and joke about Amanda's Olympic Swimmer father! Carol was a wonderful person and she will always be remembered as a great wife, mother, teacher and friend.

I worked with Carol at Mill Lake School. We were a very close First Grade team. I have many fond memories going to her house for get-togethers and swimming parties. I enjoyed seeing pictures of the birthday parties she had for her beloved Cocker Spaniels. Our quick Friday lunches at Luigi's were always full of laughs. Godspeed Carol. You will be missed by all!
