Dear Mother/Grandma K.
We are so sorry that we are not there to pay our respects. You know we would be if it were possible. I'm so glad we got to spend some quality time together this summer & again in October. We both knew that would most likely be the last time we would have together as we said our tearful good-byes. Traveling up North will never be the same knowing there won't be anybody to greet me at New Haven Way. I'll miss your stories, our glass(or two) of Rose in the afternoons, dining at Antonio's, trips down the shore, and on and on. You were the ideal mother-in-law to Gail and she will miss you dearly. Michael & Amanda have nothing but kind memories of Gramma K, and I'm so glad I had the chance to share photos with you of your great-granddaughter, Amanda's beautiful Amelia Lark. We know you are at peace now, and for that we are grateful. Bye-bye.
With love,
Michael, Gail, Michael D., Amanda
