I love you Grandma and miss you. You always prayed for me. I have 2 children now, Evie and Tommy, I wish they could’ve met you. I will tell them about you. I’ll always remember taking you out to lunch and ordering decadent Oreo moose pie for dessert. I would get one and you would get one and you would eat only a few bites of yours and give me the rest. Tell Grandpa I said hi. Love, Evan

Dear Zaremba Family,
Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. May you find comfort in your loving memories, and in knowing that God is "near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves." (Psalm 34;18) Our loving Creator has promised to soon "swallow up death forever...and wipe the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25;8) With deepest sympathy,

To all my cousins, Our condolences go out to you and your families. As Charlie said, it’s hard being so far from family, especially at times like this. I’ll never forget when Wanda and your dad visited us when they were at a Marine Corps Reunion in Denver some years back. I got to see a side of them, especially Charlie, that I never saw as a kid growing up. We had a great time and really appreciated them taking time away from his Marine buddies to visit with us. I’ll miss them both! Love, Brendan, Cheryl and Brett

Grandma, I just want you to know that I love you and will miss you. I wish sometimes, on my many visits, that my trip lasted longer! I have so many memories of you. In fact, one of my favorite memories is the one when I visited and I was interested in the old hollywood actress Viven Leigh. We walked to several bookstores to find her book. We finally did find it and I was so excited. I still have that book! I remember when I got home from visiting you there was a letter from you waiting for me in the mail. It was about how you enjoyed your time with me and my family and inside was a clipping of Viven Leigh from the newspaper. I had forgotten it at your house. You knew I really wanted it! I still have that too. I will always carry the memories we shared close to my heart! I know you are with God and grandpa in heaven. Every time I say the rosary I will include you in my prayer. Thank you for all the wonderful years I was able to spend with you. I love you!

Aunt Wanda - when my mother and I visited you in October you told me I was still a brat (I can't imagine why). One of my favorite memories is when you and Uncle Charlie stayed at my house after my parents 40th Anniversary. I apologized for all the noise my cousins were making after you went to bed and you said you did not mind that you loved the noise of family.
Love your favorite brat,
Mary Ellen

To all of Wanda's belovd children, their spouses, grandchildren, and extended family. Please accept my sincere sorrow at the death of one of the most beautiful, faithful, happy, a devout Catholic and most of all my beloved sister Wanda. Her history of taking care of her sisters and brother upon the death of our mother is legendary. I know she is with her husbank Charlie in God's hands and smiling down on us. Her Quote on her 88th Birthday was: "I'm lucky I'm alive and have a wonderful and beautiful family, me, my sisters , brother and their families."

Aunt Wanda,
The fondest memories of my early life were our family get togethers in New Jersey. I remember the Zaremba's always arrived first and that I would ride my bicycle to get Uncle Charlie cigarettes. I'll never forget that he told me I was crazy for going in the Marine Corps. I miss you both. Just to let you know, Drafty is safe. God Bless you.

I forgot to mention that Wanda made the most famous hand made crocheted quilts of all time. Each family has one of her famous quilts. Mine was a pink and white. It keeps you as warm as a bug in the rug. Mary

Mom, you had your share of heartache growing up but persevered.
You married your World War hero and started a new adventure.
Over the years you worked and worried growing up six children.
Through emotional highs and lows you always were there to give motherly advice and comfort.
Though your time on Earth is over, memory of you will last forever.
A light footstep, warm heart, special smile and a life time of love doesn’t do you justice.
It’s finally time to take that long delayed walk with Charlie. Enjoy!

Vivid memories of summer parties at your house with Uncle Charlie and the cousins. Your knitting skills made me one of the coolest with my poncho that you made when I was 10...purple and white! Your strength and determination should be emphasized as you not only raised your own 6 children but at 13 you took on the role of raising your siblings for which we are all forever grateful. Be in peace, Vanda Elsa. Volim te.

Mom, I know that you are with God and in perfect peace. I thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for all you have done for me. It was rough moving away from the nest, but that was part of life. No one said life was easy and being separated by 2000 miles didn't make it any easier. You knew hardship in life and it made you a better person. I will miss you but your memory will be with me forever. I will keep you and dad in my prayers each and every day.
