On behalf of the NJ Gudgeon Chapter U.S. Submarine Veterans of WWII, based at the NJ Naval Museum in Hackensack, NJ, our shipmates express their sincere condolences to Lucy Magnolo and all of the members of Joe's family. Joe attended many of the submarine veteran conventions over the years, and is remembered for his yearly attendance at our annual Cape May reunions, with wife Lucy. Joe also served as our delegate representative at many of the U.S. Submarine Veterans of WWII
National Conventions. We salute MoMM 1/c Joe Magnolo for his 17 years of U.S. Navy service to our country as a submariner during
World War II and the Korean War. We are forever grateful for his years of service with the NJ Gudgeon Chapter U.S. Submarine Veterans of
WWII. "Sailor, rest your oar, as you continue on Eternal Patrol."
