Phyllis C. (Montaperto) Bruzzese, 92, died on Wednesday August 29, 2018 at her residence in Monroe Twp.  Phyllis was born in Queens and moved to New Brunswick when she was 12 years old where she lived for most of her life before moving to Concordia, Monroe Twp. 22 years ago.  She raised her family as a homemaker and later in life worked in New Brunswick High School.  Phyllis loved animals, birds, gardening and she was an accomplished cook and baker.  Most of all she believed in keeping family traditions and maintaining close family relations.  She was a parishioner of St. James the Less RC Church in Jamesburg.     

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Bruzzese, Sr. (2007) and her son in law, Joseph Blazejewski (2017)

She is survived by her son, Frank J. Bruzzese, Jr. of New Hope, PA, two daughters: JoAnn Kleinert of East Brunswick and Francine Blazejewski of Freehold and four grandchildren: Michael Kleinert and his wife, Megan, Ryan Kleinert, Melissa Blazejewski and Nicole Blazejewski.
