Obituary of Marilyn L. Simone
Marilyn L. (Smith) Simone passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro. She was 80 years old. Marilyn was born and raised in Brooklyn. She later lived in Waymart, PA for 34 years before moving to Rossmoor, Monroe Twp. in 2011.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Simone in 1996 and her first husband, Edward Callahan in 2013.
She is survived by three children, Laura Callahan of Monroe Twp., Kathleen Simone and her husband Adam Kirkpatrick of Malden, MA, and Anthony Simone of Huntington Station, NY, three sisters-in-law, and one brother-in-law. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Abigail Micheals, Ryan Micheals, Alessia Kirkpatrick, and Olivia Kirkpatrick, and many other extended family members.
A private cremation is being held under the direction of the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc.
