Obituary of Margaret A. Eyres

Margaret A. (Russo) Eyres passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Meadow Lakes in Hightstown.  She was 84 years old.  Margaret was born and raised in Hoboken.  She later lived in North Brunswick, where she raised her family, before retiring in Barnegat.  She has resided in Meadow Lakes since 2017.  She was a hairstylist and in 1990, she founded her own salon, Tresses Design Studio in Somerset.  She owned and operated that salon until her retirement in 2005.  Marge loved the beach, cooking, baking, and entertaining.

She was pre-deceased by her parents, Elizabeth and Vincenzo Russo, her husband, Burke R. Eyres, two brothers, Pat Russo, and Matthew Russo, and four sisters, Teresa DeLaura, Beatrice Theresa, Marie Dunphy, and Sylvia DelleFave.

She is survived by four children, Burke Anthony Eyres of Voorhees, Lisa Eyres-Findley and her husband Scott of Franklin Park, Mark Eyres of Manalapan, and Michelle Eyres-Hackett and her husband Charles of Clarksburg, three grandchildren, Mark Anthony, Noelle, and CJ, and many other extended family members.

Visitation will be from 12:00pm to 4:00pm on Sunday, September 10, 2023 and from 9:00am to 10:00am on Monday, September 11, 2023 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555.  A catholic blessing will begin at 10:00am on Monday at the funeral home followed by Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
