Obituary of Bruce Callahan

Bruce "Bob" Callahan, 82, passed away on Monday September 4, 2023 at Penn Medicine Princeton Health in Plainsboro NJ. Bruce was born in Plainfield, NJ; he was raised in South Plainfield, NJ and resided in Piscataway, NJ for thirty eight years before moving to Monroe Township, NJ seventeen years ago.

Bob was employed by Howell Electric Motors in Plainfield, NJ, as an inventory manager, after working for forty four years he retired in 2003. Bob was an avid New York Yankees fan and an animal lover.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of forty seven years, Marilyn Callahan, 

his brother, Richard Callahan and his wife, Nancy of Laurence Harbor, NJ, his nieces and nephews, Tara, Lizzie and Rick, and his many extended family members and friends.  

Visitation will be held from 3-5 PM on Friday, September 8, 2023 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, located at 205 Rhode Hall Rd in Monroe Twp., NJ. Funeral services will begin at 5 PM at the conclusion of the visitation.  Cremation is private.
