Obituary of Raffaele Ucciferri
Raffaele Ucciferri, 82, passed away on Sunday September 3, 2023 at his residence with his loving family by his side. Raffaele was born in Isernia, Italy; he came to the United States in 1958 and resided in Brooklyn, NY for most of his life, before moving to the Stonebridge Community in Monroe Township, NJ nine years ago. For forty years, Raffaele was the owner and operator of Carrara Marble in Brooklyn, NY, before his retirement. Raffaele started playing soccer at a very young age and continued to play the sport he loved throughout his young adult life. He was an art teacher who loved to draw and paint. Raffaele was very proud of his Italian heritage and was a family man who enjoyed spending time with the ones he loved.
Raffaele is preceded in death by his parents, Antimo and Adelina Ucciferri and sister, Rita Ucciferri.
Raffaele is survived by his loving wife of forty eight years, Kerstin Ucciferri of Monroe Township, NJ, his three sons; Antimo Gunnar Ucciferri of Brooklyn, NY, Michael Raffaele Ucciferri and his wife Christina of Old Bridge, NJ, John Steven Ucciferri and his wife Michelle of Morganville, NJ, his four grandchildren; Michael Ucciferri, Aiden Ucciferri, Jack Ucciferri and Adam Ucciferri. Also surviving are his extended family members and friends including his sister Antoinette Fasciano of Brooklyn, NY and his many nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 PM and 7-9 Pm on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, located at 205 Rhode Hall Rd in Monroe Twp., NJ. A Catholic Blessing will be offered at 8:30 PM Wednesday September 6, 2023 at the funeral home. Cremation is private.
