Obituary of Kenneth J.K. Gross

Kenneth J.K. Gross, 68, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 31, 2023. Kenneth was born in Long Branch, NJ and resided in Monroe Township, NJ for most of his life. Kenneth was employed by Monroe Township Police Department and, after thirty-six years of service, retired as a Lieutenant in 2010. For the past eleven years, he was employed part-time as a civilian evidence clerk for the same department. Kenneth enjoyed working outside in his yard growing vegetables and planting flowers. He also enjoyed swimming with his grandchildren, buying them pizza, and spoiling them with his love. 

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Bernadette Gross of Monroe Township, NJ; his son, Christopher Gross and his wife, Nicole, of Monroe Township, NJ; his three grandchildren, Alexandra Lee, Jackson John, and Michael Kenneth; his five sisters; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 and from 10-11 AM on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, located at 205 Rhode Hall Rd in Monroe Twp, NJ. Funeral services will begin at 11 AM on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at the funeral home, followed by a committal ceremony at Holy Cross Burial Park Crematory Chapel.
