Obituary of Blanca Ramos

Blanca Ramos, 81, passed away on Friday August 4, 2023 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Blanca was born in Havana Cuba, she came to the United States on July 26, 1961 and resided in Newark, NJ, Garwood, NJ and Old Bridge, NJ, before moving to Monroe Township, NJ, twenty years ago. Blanca was a homemaker, she enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley, reading, playing mah-jongg, and dominoes. Blanca was a member of the Elizabeth Cubano Lions Club for 37 years, a devout Catholic, she was a past parishioner of St Ambrose RC Church and current parishioner of Nativity Of Our Lord RC Church. She was an avid Mets fan and loved to watch Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and General Hospital.    

Blanca is preceded in death by her husband, Jose P. Ramos (2011) and her grandson, Joseph McGraw (2001).  

Blanca is survived by her son, Javier Ramos of Old Bridge, NJ, her two daughters, Suzanne Orenga and her husband, John of Senoia, GA., Marta McGraw and her husband Louis of Jackson, NJ, her sister, Martha Ramos, and her husband, Hugo of Edison, NJ, her seven grandchildren, Anthony Orenga, Kristin Orenga, Michael Kipp, Eric Kipp, Megan McGraw, Morgan McGraw, Daniel McGraw her four great grandchildren Sebastian Orenga-Morrone, Elijah Orenga Smith, Valerie Kipp and Luna Kipp.  Also surviving are extended family members and friends.  

Visitation will be from 4:00pm - 8:00pm on Tuesday August 8, 2023 and from 8:30 am - 9:15 am on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 9:15 am on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be at 10:00 am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, 185 Applegarth Road, Monroe Township, NJ 08831 followed by a private cremation.
