Obituary of Dennis M. Joyce

Dennis M. Joyce passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.  He was 76 years old.  Dennis was born and raised in the Bronx, NY.  He later lived in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn, NY before moving to Sayreville in 1988.  He has resided in Concordia, Monroe Twp. since 2009.  He proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War Era.  He was a Distribution Manager for Judith Ripka Jewelers in NYC.  He retired in 2009.  He loved the beach and spent many summers in Manasquan.  He also was a die-hard New York Yankee fan and loved to joke and sing.

He was pre-deceased by his parents, Howard and Catherine Joyce, and his brother James Joyce.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Barbara (Dounn) Joyce of Concordia, Monroe Twp., one sister, Patricia Weir of Manasquan, and many other extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 and from 9:00am to 9:30am on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555.  A catholic blessing will begin at 9:30am on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Rd. Wrightstown, NJ.
