Obituary of Judith A. Seifried

Judith Ann (Flammia) Seifried, 76, of Monroe Twp. passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at RWJ Hospital in Hamilton.  Judith was born in Newark.  She later lived in Irvington and Iselin before moving to Monroe Twp. in 2005.  She was employed by National Newark and Essex Bank in Newark as well as New Jersey Licensed Beverage and New Jersey Restaurant Association before retiring.

She was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Immaculata 'Anna Marie' (Ierubino) Flammia, her husband, Robert J. Seifried, Sr., three brothers, Rocco Flammia, Michael Flammia, and Alexander 'Cookie' Flammia, and one sister-in-law, Loretta Flammia.

She was the beloved mother of her two children, Kimmarie Pocchio and her husband Anthony, and Robert J. Seifried, Jr. and his wife Ellen.  She was also survived by four grandchildren, Marissa and Joseph A. Pocchio, and Nickolas and MacKenzie Seifried, two sisters-in-law, Nancy Flammia, and Joanne Howes, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 and from 8:45am to 9:15am on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555.  Funeral services will begin at 9:15am on Thursday from the funeral home.  A funeral liturgy will be 10:00am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, 185 Applegarth Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 followed by interment in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
