Obituary of Joseph B. Garsick

Joseph B. Garsick, 83, of Freehold, NJ, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2023 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune.  Joseph was born in Perth Amboy, NJ; he was the son of Joseph and Dorothy.  Joseph graduated from Perth Amboy High School and enlisted in the US Air Force, he then married the love of his life, Lois Reinartsen, who predeceased him in 2018.  Joseph and Lois raised their family in Monroe Twp., NJ.  Joseph owned and operated a carpet cleaning business with his wife Lois.  They were inseparable in life and now they will spend eternity together in heaven. 

Joseph is survived by his loving children, Dean Garsick and Kim Mazza and her husband Brian and his cherished granddaughters, Corie DiGennaro and her husband Luke and Jamie Morales and her husband Devin.

Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 and from 8:30am to 9:15am on Thursday July 6, 2023 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 9:15am Thursday July 6, 2023 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 10:00am at St. James the Less RC Church 36 Lincoln Ave., Jamesburg, NJ, followed by interment in Shoreland Memorial Gardens Cemetery, State Route 35 North, Hazlet, NJ 07730.
