Obituary of Marjorie A. Porcello

Mrs. Marjorie A. (Lanzisera) Porcello passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Sunrise of Marlboro.  She was 92 years old.  Marjorie was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY.  She later lived in Matawan for over 26 years before moving to Concordia, Monroe Twp. in 2016.  Most recently she resided in Marlboro.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, John M. in 2018, her son, John P. in 1977, and four siblings.

She is survived by her son, Christopher Porcello and his wife Carmela of Millstone Twp., and two grandchildren, Jonathan Porcello and his wife Meredith, and Dominique Richards and her husband Robert, one brother-in-law, Stanley Porcello, one sister-in-law, Millie Steele and her husband Richard, and many other extended family members.

Visitation will be from 8:30am to 9:30am on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555.  A Catholic blessing will begin at the conclusion of the visiting hour at 9:30am.  Interment will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, LI, NY.
