Linda was predeceased by her parents Vincent and Mary Volpini, her siblings Marie, Jean and Charles and her in-laws Stanley Olbrys Sr. and Eleanor.

Linda was born on June 26, 1945 in Bay Ridge. She grew up in Bensonhurst Brooklyn and attended New Utrecht High School. She earned Masters Degrees at Hunter College and Brooklyn College. She taught physical education and health for 33 years at New Dorp High School in Staten Island.

Linda married Richard in 1972. They celebrated 51 years of marriage this past March. They moved from Staten Island to Monroe Township,NJ, and built a loving home for 30 years before relocating to Virginia where they watched many sunsets over the Chesapeake Bay from their deck. After 20 years, they moved back to NJ to be closer to their daughters and grandchildren.

Linda was a selfless, generous, strong woman of faith who cared deeply for the people around her. She enjoyed vacationing, trips to Atlantic City and Point Pleasant with her husband and being social at the Tavern on the Lake. Some of her greatest joys came from her two daughters and grandchildren. They created many memories enjoying trips to Atlantis, Hershey Park and the Jersey shore. Her love and pride for them was undoubtedly felt by all.

We know she is free from pain, sipping on a dry martini holding a winning poker hand, laughing and toasting eternal life with her sisters, brother and parents.
