Obituary of Vincent M. Bassano

Vincent M. Bassano passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.  He was 23 years old.  Affectionately known as Buddy by his immediate family, he was born in New Brunswick and was life-long Jamesburg resident.  He was a proud graduate of Academy Learning Center in Monroe Twp. in June 2022, and most recently began attending All In A Day Program in Manalapan.  He enjoyed listening to music and hanging out with his dog, Rocky, but most of all cherished the time he spent with his family.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Louise Perez, and his maternal grandfather, Kenneth Meade.

He is survived by his parents, Vincent M., Sr. and Colleen M. (Meade) Bassano of Jamesburg, his paternal grandfather, Jose Perez of Edison, his maternal grandmother, Ann (Wallace) Meade of Little Egg Harbor, three uncles, Joseph Bassano, Michael Bassano, and Kenneth Meade, and many cousins and other extended family members and friends.

A private cremation was held under the funeral home's direction.

A memorial gathering will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555.  A memorial service will begin at the conclusion of the gathering hours at 1:00pm at the funeral home.
