Obituary of Claire Busby

Claire (Kelly) Busby, 75, passed away on Monday April 10, 2023 at her residence in Monroe Twp.  Claire was born in Staten Island and lived in New Jersey for the majority of her life.  She was a chemist for over 30 years at National Starch in Bridgewater until her retirement.  Claire loved sewing and counted cross stitch, going to the beach and watching sports, especially the NY Yankees and Giants. She loved her cats and enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter and watching her cheer.  Most of all, Claire was very proud of her daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Thomas Busby (2017).

She is survived by her daughter, Meaghan Heim and her husband Allan of Manalapan, her granddaughter, Lexi, and two brothers: Keith Kelly of North Carolina and Bruce Kelly of Texas.  

A memorial gathering will be 1-3 pm on Sunday April 23, 2023 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. - 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ  08831.
