Q: How did you meet Elizabeth?
A: It was through the Monroe Democratic Club that Betty and I met. We would canvass in Clearbrook when she was a candidate for Councilwoman. I enjoyed walking with her as we solicited votes for the win. She became my friend. Betty really enjoyed serving our community, loved her family, whom she spoke of proudly. She will be missed at headquarters and council meetings, as well as social events. Rest easy, Betty. So glad to have known you.
