Obituary of Norman B. Moser

Norman B. Moser, 83, passed away on Wednesday March 8, 2023 at St. Peter's University Medical Center in New Brunswick.  Norman was born and raised in Mineral Springs, NC.  He moved to New Jersey over 40 years ago and resided in Cranbury for the past 20 years.  He worked in his family's pipefitting business, Moser Brothers, at the Bayway Refinery in Linden for most of his career, continuing to work for various contractors at the refinery until his retirement in 2012.  He was a member of the Steamfitters Local 475 for his entire career.  Norman was a 32 Degree Mason and a member of the Elks.  He loved to restore and collect classic cars, especially Mustangs.  Norman also was an avid NASCAR fan.  

Norman was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Moser, his father and stepmother, Moffatt and Katie Moser.

He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Karen (Bason) Moser of Cranbury, his son, Theodore David Kenny, III of Kendall Park, his daughter, Dawn Winkler and her husband Clark of Kendall Park, five grandchildren: Taylor, Luke and Branden Kenny and Paige and Reagan Winkler, his daughter Lori and her children, three sisters: Christie Hoelzer and her husband Robert of North Carolina, Georgia Moser of Oklahoma and Marilyn Outen and her husband David of North Carolina.  Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  

Visitation will be 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm on Monday March 13, 2023 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. - 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ  08831.  A funeral service will be 10 am on Tuesday March 14, 2023 at the First Presbyterian Church of Cranbury - 22 S. Main St., Cranbury, NJ  08512 followed by interment in Brainerd Cemetery, Cranbury.
