Obituary of Stanley N. Sudol

Stanley N. Sudol passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro.  He was 70 years old.  Stanley was born in Dabrowka, Poland.  He came to the US in 1959 with his family and settled in the  Greenpoint section of Brooklyn, NY.  He later moved to Emerson, NJ where he lived for 16 years.  He has resided in Monroe Twp. since 2002.  He previously worked at Avis, ITT, and Pan Am Airlines.  He worked for Comdisco, which was later acquired by Sungard, as Manager of Network Operations and later Director of Operations.  He was a man of God with strong faith who volunteered his time to the churches he belonged to including being a lector at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Brooklyn, and a eucharistic minister at the Church of the Assumption in Emerson.  He was a parishioner of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church and was a 3rd degree Knight of Columbus for the Nativity of Our Lord Council #14658.  He enjoyed cooking, reading, traveling, and especially attending his grandchildren's sporting and special events.

He was predeceased by his parents, Leon and Karolina (Rekas) Sudol, and one brother, Henryk.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Maria (Kamionka) Sudol of Monroe Twp., one daughter, Monica Alexander and her husband Eugene of Englishtown, two grandchildren, Nicholas and Lianna , one sister, Elizabeth Pierscieniewski and her husband Gregory of Ohio, his Godchildren, Violet, Jenny, Daniel, and David, and many other extended family members in Poland and the US.  He was always very loved and respected by all who knew him.

Visitation will be from 4pm to 7pm on Friday, March 10, 2023 and from 7:45am to 8:15am on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc.  Funeral services will begin at 8:15am on Saturday from the funeral home.  A funeral liturgy will be 10:00am at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 607 Humboldt St. Brooklyn, NY 11222.  Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, Queens, NY.
