Obituary of Vincent M. Vitale

Vincent M. Vitale, 74, passed away at his residence on Friday February 17, 2023.  Vincent was born in Staten Island, NY, and resided there for over sixty years, before moving to Monroe Township, NJ in 2011.  Vincent proudly served his country in the National Guard for eight years.  He was employed by the United States Postal Service in Staten Island, NY, for thirty-eight years, retiring in 2004.  Vincent was a carpenter using his skills to help everyone and also built displays for trade shows at Jacob Javitts in New York City.  Vincent had a strong faith and was a devout catholic.  He was an avid golfer and a fan of the New York Yankees and the New York Football Giants. 

Vincent is preceded in death by his parents, James Vitale (1969) and Dorothy (Walker) Vitale (1997) and his brother, Nicholas J. Vitale (2010). 

Vincent is survived by his loving wife of forty three years, Rhonda (Lusnewitz) Vitale,  his daughter, Danielle Vitale of Staten Island, NY, his son, James Vitale and his wife Michelle of Staten Island, NY, his two brothers, Jerome Vitale and his wife Emily of Florida, John Vitale and his wife Marie of Oradell, NJ, his sister, Marianne Vitale and her husband Al of Colonia, NJ, and his two grandsons, Vincent and James Vitale, along with his cousin Nicholas R. Vitale who was his fifth brother and his wife Camille of Staten Island, NY.  Also surviving are his many nieces, nephews, cousins and his Aunt Frances Vitale.

Visitation will be from 3-7pm on Monday, February 20, 2023, and from 8:30am to 9:15am on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831.  Funeral services will begin at 9:15am on Tuesday from the funeral home.  A funeral liturgy will be 10:00am at St. James the Less RC Church, 36 Lincoln Ave, Jamesburg, NJ.  A private cremation will follow the Mass.
