Obituary of Vitonicola Sacchetti

Vitonicola Sacchetti, 65, passed away at his home, in Monroe Township,NJ, on Sunday January 15, 2023.  He was born in Sannicandro di Bari, Italy and resided there until the age of thirteen. He lived in Monroe Township for the past twenty one years.  Vitonicola was an avid soccer fan and hunter; he loved the outdoors and gardening.  He was family man.

Vitonicola is survived by his loving wife of forty years - Angela,  his daughter - Daniela and her husband Christopher Hladinec of Glenside, PA.,  his son - Joseph of Metuchen, NJ and his two grandchildren - Luca and Nina Hladinec.  Also surviving are his three brothers, Tony Sacchetti and his wife Rose, Tom Sacchetti and his wife Anna, Mike Sacchetti and his wife Tina and his two sisters, Maria Mastroviti and her husband Simone and Tina Sacchetti.

Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 and from 9:00am to 9:45am on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831.  Funeral services will begin at 9:45am on Thursday from the funeral home.  A funeral liturgy will be 10:30am at Immaculate Conception RC Chruch, 18 South Street, Spotswood, NJ, followed by Entombment in Resurrection Cemetery, 361 Sharrott Ave, Staten Island, NY.
