Obituary of George J. Fellouris

George J. Fellouris, 83, of Monroe Twp., passed away on Saturday January 7, 2023 at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold.  George was born and raised in Brooklyn.  He lived on Staten Island for 27 years where he raised his family before moving to Monroe Twp. 18 years ago.  He started working at the age of 17 as a messenger for Globe Shipping Company at JFK airport in Queens. He worked there for over 50 years and eventually ended up owning the company.  He proudly served his country in the US Army Reserves.  George loved spending time with his wife, family and friends and was very involved in all of his grandchildren's activities. He enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City and Aruba, going on cruises and watching football.  

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Kathryn (Nastri) Fellouris of Monroe Twp., four children: Stephanie Anzevino and her husband Nick of Howell, Andrew Fellouris and his wife Julie of Kendall Park, Joseph Fellouris and his wife Stephanie of Howard Beach, Queens and George J. Fellouris, Jr. and his wife Jacqueline of Manalapan, and sixteen grandchildren: Andrew, Stephen, Angela, Nicholas, Vincent, Nichole, Stephen, Paul, Samantha, Jillian, Gabriella, Carley, Alexandria, Nicolette, Sophia and Jesse.

Visitation will be 12:00-5:00 pm on Wednesday January 11, 2023 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. - 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ  08831 - 732-521-0555.  A funeral service will be 4:30 pm during the visiting hours.  Cremation is private.
