Obituary of Mary Ann Cerbie
Mary Ann (Rovello) Cerbie, 85, of Monroe Twp., passed away on Monday December 5, 2022 at St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick. Mary Ann was born in South River and resided there until 1969 when she moved to Monroe Twp. She worked as an accountant for McGraw Hill before raising her family as a homemaker. Mary Ann enjoyed crafting, crocheting, music, and was an avid New York Yankees fan. She loved spending time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Cerbie (2012), and three brothers: Giovanni Rovello, Francis Rovello and Samuel Rovello.
She is survived by her son, Douglas A. Cerbie and his wife Wendy, her daughter, Diane Perna and her husband Jason, and four grandchildren: Jonathan, Olivia, Dominic and Vincent, all of Monroe Twp.
Visitation will be 8:30-10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc., 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 – 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at the conclusion of the visitation. A funeral liturgy will begin at 10:30 a.m. at St. James the Less RC Church, 36 Lincoln Ave., Jamesburg, NJ 08831, followed by interment in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
