Obituary of Edward Blizniak

Edward Blizniak, 81, passed away on Sunday November 13, 2022, at the Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center, New Brunswick.  Edward was born and raised in Blizianka, Poland, he resided there until 1972, when he came to the United States and made Linden, NJ his home, before moving to Monroe Township, NJ twenty years ago.  Edward was employed by General Motors for twenty-seven years as an assembly line worker.  Edward was a parishioner of Holy Trinity RC Church in Helmetta, NJ, he was a handyman who enjoyed yard work, being outside, helping people, visiting the Jersey shore, and taking cruises. 

Edward is preceded in death by his brother Ryszard Blizniak (2000). 

Edward is survived by his loving wife, Stella Blizniak, of Monroe Township, NJ, they were happily married to for fifty six years, his three sons, Ben and his wife Bianca of Monroe Township, NJ, Mark and his significant other, Sue Greda of Pennsylvania, Robert and his wife Joann of Clark, NJ, seven grandchildren, Monica Lamartina, Michael, Matthew, Benjamin, Jr., Bianca, Sophie, and Joseph Blizniak, brother, Sylwester Blizniak and his wife Anna of Linden, NJ, three sisters, Zofia Szpiech, Anna Jakobska, Kazimiera Mazur and her husband Jan, all of Poland, sister-in-law, Maria Blizniak of Monroe Township, NJ and many extended family members and friends.          

Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday November 17, 2022, and from 8:30am to 9:30am on Friday November 18, 2022, at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831.A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday November 18, 2022, at Holy Trinity RC Church, 100 Main Street, Helmetta, NJ followed by interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Linden, NJ.
