Obituary of Maria Grace Pengue
Maria Grace Pengue passed away on November 7th, 2022, in Freehold, NJ.
Maria was born in Benevento Italy to Corrado and Maria Sciarra, she was raised there and met her husband, Angelo Pengue. After being married they immigrated to the United States in 1966. They lived in Milltown and then moved to Millstone where she lived with her family.
Maria was a Homemaker and cared for their family her entire adult life. Caring for her husband and then her children and then eventually her precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Maria is predeceased by her dear husband Angelo Pengue in 2021 as well as her brothers; Antonio Sciarra and Vincenzo Sciarra both from Italy.
She is survived by her two sons, Nicola and his wife Antonella of Millstone Twp., and Angelo Jr. also of Millstone Twp. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Angelo, Antonio, Nicholas, and Maria, and her great-grandchildren Hannah Grace, Emma Rose, and Nicola J.
Visitation will be on Thursday, November 10, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. A Catholic blessing will be held on November 11, 2022, beginning at 10:30 am at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Road, Monroe Twp. NJ 08831 (732)521-0555. Entombment will immediately follow at Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum in South Brunswick.
