Obituary of Edna Lee Orosz

Edna Lee (Hann) Orosz passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Roosevelt Care Center at Old Bridge. She was 74 years old. Edna was born in Dublin, Georgia and was raised in Cleveland, OH. She later lived in Marietta, GA and moved to the Old Bridge/Matawan area in 1978 where she lived for about 34 years. She then lived in Piscataway for a short time before moving to Rossmoor, Monroe Twp. in 2016. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse who worked for Cobb County Hospital in Georgia. In New Jersey she worked for Raritan Bay Medical Center at Perth Amboy, Old Bridge and DaVita Healthcare in dialysis. She enjoyed going on cruises and collecting paper money from different lands that she visited.  She was a collector of carnival horse figurines and also was an avid reader.

She was pre-deceased by her first husband, Daniel D. O’Malley, Sr., her second husband, Kenneth Orosz, and one brother.

She is survived by her son, Daniel D. O’Malley, Jr. and his wife Candace of Hasbrouck Heights, two step-daughters, Stephanie Talalai and her husband Anthony, and Denise Demkowicz and her husband Steven, seven grandchildren, Sean O’Malley, Michael O’Malley, Jenna O’Malley, Alyssa Talalai, Brandon Talalai, Nicolas Demkowicz, and Angelina Demkowicz, and many other extended family members.

Cremation is private.

A memorial gathering will be from 6-8pm on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A memorial service will begin at the conclusion of the gathering hours at 8pm at the funeral home.
